New Year, New Me

I decided to start blogging after many years of thinking about it and never following through.  I'm one of  those people that see peoples links on there facebook pages, reads peoples posts, or reads comments on random articles and thinks to myself WTF!  I've worked in various careers centered around social work, so you can imagine WTF is a pretty well said (or thought) phrase in my vocabulary. I have three boys who range in age from 4-11 (almost 12), and feel comfortable in having and now sharing many of my own ideas about various topics.  I'm not a perfect parent, and don't claim to be, and really don't like people who brag about being the perfect parent.  Perfection is hard to come by and if we try too hard to strive for it, we can be let down. So, for 2012 I resolve to take it easy on myself, be there for my kids and hubby and enjoy the life I've been given.  I hope to have frank and humorous discussion on topics that range from breastfeeding in public, how to keep relationships alive, to how the hell to survive raising three children. So here's to a great and interesting 2012!
